From the day I purchased my Samsung Galaxy S9+ from TARGET, I can’t seem to put it down. I’m truly impressed with the technology and camera features that Samsung integrated into their new flagship phone. I spent a week navigating through all the new features and I shared my favorites with you in my Samsung Galaxy S9+ Tips & Tech Pro Guide. Phone Color Options
Friends, we all know fashion is a must for our Latina lifestyle. This is where the Samsung Galaxy S9+ delivers with its sleek new design that is available in three stunning colors: lilac purple, midnight black, and coral blue. It not only looks pretty, it’s hi-tech too!

Intelligent Scan
Intelligent Scan is a major security enhancement on the Samsung Galaxy S9+. The new method combines facial and iris scanning to unlock your phone even in low light. It’s easy to set up too. Simply go to the Setting icon, select the Lock Screen and Security tab, and under the Biometrics section, select Intelligent Scan. Type in your PIN and follow the directions to record your face and iris data.

Infinity Display
Whether you are taking panoramic photos or watching movies on your phone, you’ll love the Samsung Galaxy S9+ new Infinity Display with a near bezel-less, full-frontal, beautiful edge to edge 6.2″ screen. Plus, everything looks so sharp and clear in Full HD+ resolution.

Super Slow Mo
As a child, we always celebrated Easter with a piñata. I remember my brother, cousins and I taking turns whacking the pinata for candy. Of course, I had to share this treasured Mexican tradition with my six-year-old niece, Bella. With my new Samsung Galaxy S9+, I was able to record Bella’s first piñata using the new super-slow-mo feature. I even edited the slow-mo clip and paired it with music to share with my friends and family.
What I like about the Samsung Galaxy S9+ super-slow-mo feature is that you can video in auto or manual mode. In auto mode, the lens automatically detects when action appears in the frame and slows it down for you. If you want to control when to record in slow mode, select manual and press the button with gradient red rings to record. You can also edit recorded super-slow-mo clips to loop, swing it back and forth, or reverse it.

AR Emoji
AR Emoji allows you to create an animated avatar of yourself simply by taking a selfie. The new feature is available on the Samsung Galaxy S9+ directly in the camera app. In selfie mode, swipe to the “AR Emoji” tab. Once your emoji is created, you can make a video or an animated sticker pack to use for messaging. For my best friend’s birthday, I sent her a personalized emoji video to sing Happy Birthday to her.

Dual Aperture
Taking photos in low high or bright light with a camera phone has always been a challenge for me. Especially since most of my blogging events are at night and family gatherings are outdoors during the day. The Samsung Galaxy S9+ new Dual Aperture lens resolves both issues because it adapts like the human eye. You can capture stunning pictures in bright daylight and super low light. The 12-megapixel lens mechanically opens the aperture at either f/1.5 or f/2.4 which allows you to snap glorious photos in various lighting conditions.

Live Focus
I love taking selfies and snapshots of my friends and family. Often, I have to tweak and edit my photos to get them to look just right. With the Samsung Galaxy S9+ Live Focus with bokeh filters, I can take beautiful photos directly from the camera without editing them. The Samsung Galaxy S9+ portrait effects create 2x optical zoom for clearer shots from far away.

Live Translation
Another great addition to the Samsung Galaxy S9+ camera technology is the Live Translation. It’s located in the camera app under the Auto tab. Select the eye icon on the bottom left of the screen and then select the Text button. The camera instantly reads what your eyes cannot. Now you can get real time-translation when you’re traveling abroad or when you need a little help reading your mama’s Spanish cookbooks![/text_output][text_output]
