How to Create the Perfect Cheese Board

INGREDIENTS
- Sacha Lichine single blend rosé
- Delice D’Bourgone Brie
- Don Juan Manchego
- 6 small figs, sliced
- HEB sliced peppered salami
- 1 cup assorted olives
- 1 cup fig preserve
- French bread, sliced
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the brie, manchego, salami, and sliced figs on a cheese board.
- Fill a tapas bowl with assorted olives.
- Fill a tapas bowl with a fig preserve.
- Serve sliced French bread aside from the cheese board.
- Serve chilled rosé or wine of choice.
I used summer figs and wine to bring out the flavors of the season. However, you can design your cheese board with any fruit of your choice, but make sure your wine complements your fruit selection. As a rule of thumb, select one hard cheese and one soft cheese.
Also, you can swap out the French bread for crackers.
