CRUSH your 4th of July party with S’more Pops!! They are festive, fun, and family YUM!

You can make these yummy S’more Pops ahead of time or setup a s’mores bar for your family and friends to make for dessert at your holiday BBQ.  Show your red, white, and blue spirit with party flares from Michael’s stores and add a little sparkle to your 4th of July tablescape.

So let’s celebrate July 4th with a BANG and wow your friends and family with these delicious S’more Pops!

Smores Recipe for the 4th of July

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Jumbo Jet-Puffed Marshmallows
  • 1 10 oz package Ghirardelli dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 package royal blue candy melts
  • 1 cup graham crackers (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup red sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup white sprinkles
  • 12 bamboo skewers
  • Wax paper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Insert one bamboo skewers through each marshmallow.
  2. In two small microwavable bowls, microwave the chocolate wafers and candy melt separately on high for 1 minute.
  3. Remove the bowls and stir the chocolate and candy melt until smooth.
  4. Dip six marshmallow pops in the chocolate dip and coat with crushed graham crackers. Place on waxed paper to cool.
  5. Dip six marshmallow pops in the royal blue candy melt and coat with red and white sprinkles.  Place on waxed paper to cool.
  6. Transfer s’more pops to a serving dish and garnish with fresh strawberries.

If marshmallows are not your thang, swap out the marshmallows with pretzels or fresh strawberries! For an extra something, something, you can dip cake cones and serve with a scoop of ice cream. So many possibilities with a few ingredients!
